Dynamics and transfer in complex fluids

The objectives of this research theme are to control flows involving fluids with complex rheological behaviour and to understand the underlying fundamental phenomena linked to flows and their stability. The aim is also to understand the relationships with the performance of the process or the final product. The approach is experimental, supported by numerical modelling developed in-house or in collaboration with other laboratories.
