Project description

In this project we explore the combination of membrane filtration of colloidal suspensions with UV-photocuring to obtain an ordered assemblies of particles with high concentration and orientation, yielding attractive material properties such as mechanical reinforcement and barrier to oxygen, starting from aqueous suspensions of biosourced cellulose nanocrystals.
