Process and Formatting Platform

This theme focuses on interface treatment processes for applications in the environmental field. Membrane separation processes, biological depollution processes, and intensification of transfer and reactivity through ultrasonic technologies have yielded promising results for the degradation of pollutants, recovery of heavy metals, and continuous extraction of cellulose nanocrystals for biorefinery applications. Scaling up to the industrial pilot level (scale-up) is a major objective of this research area.
